Always free · No payment ever
Request free SAT tutoring
A few honest things to read first, then a short form. It takes about five minutes, and you'll get a reply by email either way.
Before you start
- It's completely free. Tutors are volunteers. We never ask for payment, and we never ask about your family's finances.
- Who it's for. Any student preparing for the digital SAT — whether you're stuck on a plateau, want accountability, or just learn better when someone explains things out loud.
- What a tutor can help with. Working through the skills and question types you're missing, reviewing your practice mistakes, and building a realistic study plan.
- What tutoring can't promise. No honest program can guarantee a specific score, and tutors aren't instant — matching depends on volunteer availability. We don't recreate or reveal private College Board scoring.
What happens after you submit
We acknowledge your request
You'll get an email confirming we received it. If you don't see it, check spam or email us directly.
We look for a match
We aim to match students with a tutor within about a week, based on subject and availability. If we're temporarily at capacity, we'll say so honestly and point you to a group session or the Guide — we won't leave your request in silence.
You meet your tutor
Sessions run on approved video platforms at a time you agree on. See exactly what happens next.
What the form asks — and what it never asks
We only collect what's needed to match you well:
- Your preferred name and a safe way to reach you
- Grade, time zone, and planned SAT date
- Current and target scores (optional)
- Whether you want Math, Reading & Writing, or both, and the specific skills or questions you're stuck on
- Your general availability and language preference (optional)
- Any communication or accessibility needs (optional), and whether you prefer one-to-one or group help
We never ask for household income, tax or immigration documents, a street address, a Social Security number, medical documentation, or an essay proving need.
Your privacy and safety
- Who sees your request: only the small volunteer coordination team that matches students with tutors. We don't sell or share it. Full detail on the privacy page.
- How sessions happen: approved platforms with coordinated scheduling — never private, unmonitored channels. See safeguarding & conduct.
- Deleting your request: email masstutoringea@gmail.com any time and we'll delete your information — no reason needed.
- Reporting a concern: if anything ever makes you uncomfortable, email us right away or tell a trusted adult. We take every report seriously.
- Need an accommodation? Captioned calls, scheduling flexibility, alternative-format materials, or help filling out the form itself — just ask in the form or by email. You never need to disclose a diagnosis.
