Accessibility statement

Mass Tutoring is committed to making its SAT resources and tutoring services accessible to students with disabilities. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA and to continually improve the accessibility of our website.

What we've built in

  • Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, landmarks, and a "skip to main content" link on every page
  • Full keyboard operability — navigation, menus, search, filters, and disclosure sections — with visible focus indicators
  • Color contrast checked against WCAG AA for text, controls, and badges; information is never conveyed by color alone (badges and states always carry text)
  • Search and filter results announced to screen readers via a polite live region
  • Responsive layouts that reflow at 320px width and at 200%+ zoom, with relative font sizing throughout
  • Respect for the reduced-motion preference; no autoplaying media, no flashing content, and no motion-dependent information
  • Links that describe their destination, with new-tab links labeled for screen readers
  • No accessibility overlay or widget — accessibility is implemented natively in the site's code

Known limitations

  • Third-party destinations. The guide links to external resources (College Board, YouTube, practice platforms) whose accessibility we don't control. Where we know about significant barriers, we note them on the resource card; if you hit one we haven't flagged, please tell us.
  • Tutoring forms. Tutoring requests currently use Google Forms. Google Forms are generally screen-reader and keyboard accessible, but if the form doesn't work for you, we will take your request by email instead — no explanation needed.

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, or you'd like any of our content in an alternative format, email us at masstutoringea@gmail.com. It helps (but is not required) to include:

  • The page or resource involved
  • What went wrong or what you need
  • The assistive technology or browser you were using, if you're comfortable sharing
  • How you'd like us to respond

You never need to disclose a diagnosis or prove a disability. We read every report, we'll respond as quickly as we can, and confirmed barriers go to the top of our fix list.

Tutoring accommodations

Our free tutoring can flex to what you need — scheduling, captioned calls, materials in alternative formats, or help completing the request form. Mention what would help in the form or by email, and see the tutoring page for details.
