A+ Academic Tutoring Services was formed by a LOCAL educator, with over 15 years of experience in education. We’re not one of those impersonal big box tutoring or franchise operations.

LEG UP AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
We develop individual plans to assist students with project based learning. By supporting the curriculum practices we assist students with their homework while teaching study and organization skills. We have instructors in reading using the Wilson method. We also prepare students with MCAS related materials and work closely with faculty in developing a cohesive instructional program. We always support families and provide materials to encourage home and school communication.

About our Academic Coordinator
We are pleased to have Bernadette Wilkinson, MSN, as our Academic Coordinator for our After School Program for grades 1-8.
Bernadette has been an educator for the public school systems of Wilmington and Winchester, Massachusetts and is certified in both Elementary and Special Education.
Some of her other strengths include:
Ms. Wilkinson’s experience in teaching multiple subjects and grade levels brings a higher level of understanding to our students who attend the learning center. Students love the learning center because it is small and they get a lot of individual attention in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. We utilize educational games, book tapes and computers to enhance the learning experience.
That means we are close by and available anytime. We know what is going on in your school system and what it takes to help your child. (See About Us) At A+ your child’s success is our #1 priority. June, 2006 Thanks, I would highly recommend A+ Academic Tutoring Services. I was looking for a tutor for my son and sent A+ an email. I got an immediate response and we scheduled to meet the next day. Cathy listened to the needs I had for my son and within two days had me set up with a tutor.
